Difficulty

My journey lasted exactly one year.
After roughly 6 months, I almost completely stopped solving easy problems and
concentrated on medium and hard problems.

In the end, I solved 663 easy, 1250 medium, and 309 hard problems for a total of 2222 problems.

Code Quality

My medium problem's code quality was pretty consistent, while easy and hard vary a lot.
On average, my easy problems had the highest code quality (6.91/10),
followed by medium (6.54/10) and hard problems (6.29/10).
That's "good" / "above average".
Average code quality by language (in descending order):
  • MySQL: 6.79 (78 solutions)
  • Python: 6.63 (1938 solutions)
  • C++: 6.42 (202 solutions)
  • Bash: 5.78 (4 solutions)

Acceptance Rate

The average acceptance rate on LeetCode reflects the problems' difficulty:
easy 68.8%, medium 57.2%, hard 48%.

Over time, I picked more advanced problems in the medium/hard categories to challenge myself:
notice the obvious downward trend of the red and green dots.
At the end, the easy problems' acceptance rate fluctuated a lot because I solved less of them.

It's interesting to observe that some hard problems have a higher acceptance rate than some easy ones.
